At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis, they provide a “home-away-from-home” and supportive services for many families that have children with cancer and childhood illnesses. At no cost to the guest, RMH has created a home for over 8300 families. In an effort to raise money for the home, once a year they have an event call Pop Tab Palooza.
The Pop Tab Palooza logo is iconic in showcasing the goal of the fundraiser. In the logo design, a soda tab is placed in the letter O of the world POP to resemble the top of the soda can. The font choices and placement are reminiscent of Pop Art with the color choices blue and red selected by the client.
